The serpent has been the symbol of healing in many societies, for many centuries. Ka Amaru. The Serpent of Light, the Kundalini process that gets awakened on our spine for transformation that leads us back to our source, the serpent that gets illuminated and transforms into a dragon, The Plume Serpent, Quetzalcoatl.
At Ka Amaru Centre for Shamanic Studies, we take our students through different courses, workshops and hands-on experiences that offer the opportunity for personal growth and changes in all aspects of an individual's life: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. In this way the person will come to self-realization, and self-empowerment. It is only when each person realizes their potential that they can then offer themselves to the uplifting of others and of Pachamama, Mother Earth. For those who are interested in continuing further and becoming practicing Shamans, we offer apprenticeship programs and initiations into the different levels of Amazonian Shamanism.
